Churen Li Cartier Flora and Fauna

Cartier Flora and Fauna

Churen Li was invited to perform for Cartier’s “Flora & Fauna” / “Markers of Style” High Jewellery exhibitions in Qingdao and Chengdu, where she presented a series of curated piano performances across multiple evenings. Responding directly to the exhibition’s celebration of nature, strength, and elegance, Churen designed a programme that reflected Cartier’s bold and distinctive vision of femininity — one rooted not in sentimentality, but in character and presence. At the heart of the programme was her original composition, Dream of the Panthère, inspired by the iconic Panthère de Cartier, alongside imaginative arrangements of animal-themed songs and beloved classical works.

More than a performance setting, the events became a creative dialogue between music, design, and audience. Surrounded by the artistry of Cartier’s high jewellery pieces, Churen’s playing brought a living, expressive dimension to the exhibition experience, translating visual motifs into sound. Across the evenings, she engaged with international guests and collaborators, embodying the spirit of exchange and inspiration that shaped the occasion. These performances marked a meaningful intersection of music and haute joaillerie, highlighting Churen’s ability to craft programmes that respond thoughtfully to context while maintaining her distinct artistic voice.
